Volunteer Centre Greenwich offers a wide range of accredited, non-accredited and bespoke training solutions to suit any needs. Our expertise is in delivering a wide range of training for both staff and volunteers. Our team are Level 3 qualified trainers, NCFE qualified assessors and Internal Quality Verifiers.
Qualification Aim
Our Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Customer Service:
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer.
This qualification aims to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employers to working a range of different environments with in a customer service role.
To be awarded this qualification learners must complete four mandatory units and three optional units. This award is delivered in a classroom setting with activities that cover the 7 units needed to achieve the award. This course is an eight week course.
This course provides learners with an understanding of customer service and its effective delivery. Legal and ethical requirements relating to customer service and maintaining customer service information are also covered. Learners will understand the relationship between good customer service and customer loyalty, and how this affects the organisation in terms of reputation and image.
Delivery:
This award is delivered in a classroom setting with activities and training. Understanding of the different techniques of dealing with incoming calls from customers. They will develop the ability to communicate effectively and deal with customer questions and requests. Learners will develop the knowledge to support the planning and making of calls to customers – giving the required information in line with organisational procedures.

Level 2 Customer Service consists of and Induction day and a further 6 classroom session.
