Qualification Aim:

The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with an understanding of the role of an Information, Advice and Guidance worker and the skills used in this area.

Entry Requirements:

  • The minimum age for access to this qualification is 19 years. This is because the complex nature of advice giving within the range of sectors where it is offered demands that learners have a minimum level of experience, self awareness and self confidence.
  • If you have completed the Level 2 course or a level 2 in Information, Advice and Guidance

Recognition of Prior Learning can be used, evidence of prior learning is not time limited

NOCN Level 3 Award in Information, Advice or Guidance
In order to achieve the NOCN Level 3 Award in Information, Advice or Guidance, learner must achieve a total of 9 credits.

All units in the mandatory group (9credits) must be achieved.
