Recognition 250 Award Ceremony

The recognition 250 Award Ceremony is for members volunteers who have volunteered for 250 hrs or more in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

This award ceremony takes place on Thursday 6th June at Maceany House.  Volunteers are invited to attend a special afternoon just for them where they can enjoy afternoon tea and drink.

They will be recognised for the hard work and dedication they have given to your organisation and it’s services by a personal thank your and certificate from the Mayor of Greenwich.

Volunteers will also receive a photograph of themselves with the Mayor a recognition 250 pin badge.

You can nominate up to two volunteers from your organisation

Nomination:

You can nominate 2 volunteers from your organisation who have volunteered for 250 hrs or more.

Recognition 100 Pack

For volunteer who have been volunteering for 100 hrs or more we provide a Recognition 100 pack.  This is sent to your nominated volunteer via post and contains a thank you letter from the Mayor of Greenwich, a certificate of achievement and a recognition 100 pin badge.

this scheme is run in partnership with Royal Borough of Greenwich to show appreciation for all the time and effort volunteers give to our borough and services.

This award scheme will run quarterly, opening on the 1st June 2019 to launch the Volunteers’ Week 2019.  You will be able to nominate 5 volunteers on the 1st day of the month quarterly

Awards will be sent out on the following dates, so nomination need to be sent before the Award date:

  • 1st June 2019
  • 1st October 2019
  • 1st January 2020

This a rolling awards programme so as your volunteers reach 100 hrs you can nominate them.
