Salary NJC Scale 6 Point 26 £24,799 plus outer London Weighting (£1,773) per annum pro rata plus 5% Pension contribution – 18 hours per week.

The Greenwich Supported Volunteering Project helps people with a disability move towards employment. The current focus is for people with a learning disability and/or additional support needs. This exciting role will engage Greenwich residents who face additional barriers to employment through a supported voluntary placement. The project will provide one to one support through a bank of trained mentors and act as an intermediary to ensure people access the services they require through volunteering and training to increase their employment prospects

The project works in partnership with The Camden Society and Advocacy in Greenwich to engage with employers.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience of managing a team of volunteers. In addition, candidates will require a good knowledge of the issues facing people with a learning disability, as supporting this client group is essential.
