Could you support someone in achieving their goals?

More roles for volunteer mentors are now available with the Supported Volunteer Project at Volunteer Centre Greenwich.

We are looking for people who are interested in mentoring young people with learning disabilities, supporting them into volunteering roles on their journey towards employment.

Full training is provided, including a Level 2 accredited NVQ qualification in Mentoring.

Skill and Attribute:

·      We are looking for people with a positive attitude and friendly manner

·      You must have an interest in others and be available for 3 hours per week over six month

·      Reliable, consistent and have good people skills

·      Some awareness of different learning disabilities would be desirable but not essential
